About the Author
I am a recent graduate of the Information Technology & Informatics major at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
My focus was in interface design and web design/development. My other interests in information technology include information security, database design, and networking, though I am not as well versed in these areas as I am in web technologies.
I am the Senior Instructional Designer in the Office of Instructional and Research Technology at Rutgers University. I am primarily responsible for faculty, staff, and student support for our local deployment of the Sakai Project, a community-source course management system. Other projects I work on include podcasting, ePortfolios, blogs, wikis, and collaborative editing software adoption.
My long-term goal is to get a Master’s degree in Information Technology. On the way to my ultimate goal, I plan on getting some technical certifications, and finding some gurus to learn from. I’m not exactly sure what I want at this point, but I’m looking forward to finding out.
I fenced for Rutgers and the New York Athletic Club. I have been one of the top fencers in the United States for the past five years and I have traveled to several countries and almost every state in the US for competitions.
I love my girlfriend very much!
